Cedros Island Sportfishing Trip
Come with us on a more “private” fishing trip out to yellowtail breeding grounds, Cedros Island!
Eleven clients, along with one of our celebrity pro-staff members, will meet at CBX (CrossBorderXpress) in Otay Mesa, San Diego, California. You will be picked up by a Cessna Grand Caravan (included in pricing), to make a short trip to Tijuana for passport checks. Then off to the final destination, Cedros Island. It is a two hour flight from Tijuana to Cedros Island. Cedros Sportfishing was the 1st fishing resort established on Cedros Island. Founded by two pilots (Tuna Spotting Pilots) Adrian Ojeda and Tom Greene, their vision of creating an American-styled lodge on Mexican soil became a reality. Attention to detail has always been at the forefront of the development of the Cedros Sportfishing Lodge. Cedros Sportfishing provides four boats. Three are Pangas, which have been modified as center-consoled, flat surfaced platforms to enhance the fishing experience, and a twenty-five foot Mako Center Console. Professional local captains with a vast knowledge of the local fishery guide all four of the boats. In fact, all four of the captains participated in the Annual “Torneo de Pesca Cedros” in 2013 and they won 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place in the Yellowtail tournament! Clients will head out each day for hours of fishing around the island targeting big yellowtail, grouper and other types of bass then head in for dinner and relaxing in the beautiful lodge overlooking the ocean! This trip is all-inclusive (excluding gratuities & alcohol), which means that the only thing you need to worry about is getting your gear ready and bringing a healthy appetite to the island. A valid passport is required.
